Day Camp: Mess Makers
Non-School Day. Grades K-5. Calling all mess-makers! Do you like things that ooze, goo, and go kaboom? Are you the messiest artist you know? Discover the art of mess and the science behind it. Breakfast and snack will be provided. Bring a nut-free lunch and a water bottle.
Most classes include sliding-fee options designed to provide financial flexibility for community members who may need support in order to participate. We encourage participants to choose the amount they are able to pay. This model helps ensure our programs remain financially sustainable while also promoting equity and increasing accessibility for all members of our community.
Alexa Grays
Instructor
Alexa Grays has been in youth work for more than a decade. She has one son and is also a licensed foster parent. Alexa is passionate about helping families, and enjoys working with her community and creating art.
Alicia Gustafson
Alicia finds so much joy in working with young children and is inspired by the curiosity and excitement they bring to everything. She worked as a classroom teacher for kindergarten and Pre-K for 10 years, seven of those being in SPPS. She loves helping children explore, create, and fall in love with learning!
Alicia lives in Saint Paul with her husband and son, and can be found walking or riding bikes through the city, playing at playgrounds, or enjoying ice cream at Nellies, Cold Front, or Two Scoops.
