55+ Driver Discount ProgramDriving Classes for 55+For motorists 55 years of age and older. Explore changes in traffic laws and traffic safety, the latest vehicle technology, and easy-to-use defensive driving and accident-prevention tips. Completion of these courses will produce approximately a 10% decrease in your car insurance. Starting July 1st, 2024, there is no longer a requirement for an 8 hour initial course. It has been reduced to simply a 4 hour course requirement. All classes are taught by the Precision Driving Center of Minnesota. (Previously Minnesota Highway Safety & Research Center.) Artful Parenting (B-K)Specialty Classes (B-K)Connect with other families with young children (birth to kindergarten) through the arts. Playfully engage in art, including visual arts, performing arts, and more. Parenting time includes exploration of how the arts can help children grow both in their academic and social/emotional learning. Online enrollments MUST include at least one adult AND at least one child (look for the "Relationships" button). This class requires a higher budget for supplies, when compared to other ECFE programs. Participants will be asked to consider a donation ($25 per semester). Donations are optional but appreciated from all who are able to contribute. Supply money will be collected during the opening weeks of class.
