Preschool: Science Sprouts

Ages 3-5. Drop it, float it, build it, test it! Explore curious concepts like gravity, density, and motion through playful experiments. Ask big questions, make predictions, and test your ideas just like real scientists. Participants should be comfortable without their adult in the room.

Sliding Fees: Most classes include sliding-fee options designed to provide financial flexibility for community members who may need support in order to participate. We encourage participants to choose the amount they are able to pay. This model helps ensure our programs remain financially sustainable while also promoting equity and increasing accessibility for all members of our community.

Alicia Gustafson

Alicia finds so much joy in working with young children and is inspired by the curiosity and excitement they bring to everything. She worked as a classroom teacher for kindergarten and Pre-K for 10 years, seven of those being in SPPS. She loves helping children explore, create, and fall in love with learning!

Alicia lives in Saint Paul with her husband and son, and can be found walking or riding bikes through the city, playing at playgrounds, or enjoying ice cream at Nellies, Cold Front, or Two Scoops.
