Lightsaber Fencing
Grades 1-5. Grab your lightsaber and step into action! Learn the basics of fencing -- with a galactic twist. Train your body and sharpen your mind through fun drills, exciting games, and Jedi-worthy challenges. Get ready for an epic tournament at the end of class. May the force (and your footwork) be with you! Equipment provided.
Most classes include sliding-fee options designed to provide financial flexibility for community members who may need support in order to participate. We encourage participants to choose the amount they are able to pay. This model helps ensure our programs remain financially sustainable while also promoting equity and increasing accessibility for all members of our community.
Braeden Walker
Braeden Walker is a teacher, author, swordsman, and game enthusiast. He has worked with youth since 2019 and has taught Olympic Fencing, Lightsaber Fencing, Chess, Engineering, and much more. Coach Walker also has a few writing projects in the works. In his spare time, he enjoys playing games like D&D, Pokémon, Magic the Gathering, Star Wars Destiny, and more.
