Memorials and Monuments: Minnesota State Capitol Grounds Walking Tour
Visit the Cass Gilbert State Capitol grounds; a mall of memorials, sculptures, carved walkways and hidden treasures. Hear stories not told in books, but brought to life through art with bronze, woven metal trellises, spiraling pyramids, paving stones and hammered steel. This tour is of the grounds only; we will not be going inside the Capitol.
Tour will begin from the steps of the Minnesota State Capitol: 75 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Saint Paul, MN 55155.
Most of the walking tour is on paved walkways, and please note there are very few places to sit.
Tour Activity Rating: 4 (Demanding - Extensive walking/stairs/standing)
