Jessica Poole is the Founder and Principal of Jessica Poole Communications Collective (JPCC), a strategic communications consultancy focused on sports, education, and mission-driven organizations. With more than 15 years of experience in college athletics and higher education, Jessica has served in senior leadership roles including President/COO, Deputy Athletic Director, and Senior Associate Athletic Director, bringing a unique blend of executive leadership, communications expertise, and operational strategy.
A former sports information director and the first Black woman to lead College Sports Communicators, Jessica has long been at the forefront of storytelling in sports—helping student-athletes build their brands well before the NIL era. Today, she is the creator of Own Your NIL, an education platform designed to equip student-athletes and families with the tools to navigate Name, Image, and Likeness opportunities with clarity and confidence.
Jessica is known for her ability to translate complex, fast-moving topics into accessible, actionable guidance. Through JPCC, she partners with schools, organizations, and families to deliver workshops, strategy, and thought leadership at the intersection of identity, opportunity, and impact.
