For students who have completed Spanish 1.5 or have a good handle on the simple verb tenses. Focus on compound perfect tenses, the conjugation of verbs, and the writing of sentences. Fee includes a Spanish booklet. -
Mandarin Chinese 1
Designed for students with little or no prior knowledge of Mandarin Chinese. The focus is on practical oral communication and building basic vocabulary. After students gain a solid foundation, lessons will gradually introduce Chinese culture and simple writing skills. No class on July 13 and July 20. -
Mandarin Chinese 2
Designed for students who have completed Mandarin Chinese 1 and understand basic Chinese pronunciation, tones, and word structure. Students should have the knowledge with Chinese radicals, recognize basic pinyin pronunciation, and have a basic vocabulary of approximately 100 Chinese words. This class will continue to build the foundation of speaking, listening, and reading skills in a Chinese-speaking environment. -

ASL Fingerspelling Workshop - Online Course
*The date of this class has changed to Thursday, June 25th. Same time, 5-8pm.* This workshop is designed to prepare students with little to no ASL experience to be ready for ASL 1. In this workshop, along with discussing some basic concepts about ASL as a language and learning a few key signs, we will primarily be learning each letter of the alphabet and practice using the letters to build a solid foundation for fingerspelling. -
