Artful Parenting (B-K)Specialty Classes (B-K)Connect with other families with young children (birth to kindergarten) through the arts. Playfully engage in art, including visual arts, performing arts, and more. Parenting time includes exploration of how the arts can help children grow both in their academic and social/emotional learning. Online enrollments MUST include at least one adult AND at least one child (look for the "Relationships" button). This class requires a higher budget for supplies, when compared to other ECFE programs. Participants will be asked to consider a donation ($25 per semester). Donations are optional but appreciated from all who are able to contribute. BIPOC FamiliesSpecialty Classes (B-K)A Birth to Kindergarten class geared to meet the needs specific to the common concerns of Black, Indigenous, or People of Color parents and their children. Online enrollments MUST include at least one adult AND at least one child (look for the "Relationships" button). Limited transportation may be available for Saint Paul residents. Birth to 12 Months - Non-SeparatingInfant (Baby) - ToddlerA class geared to a specific age range (Birth-12 months), targeting the common concerns and needs of both parent and child. Online enrollments MUST include at least one adult AND one child (look for the "Relationships" button). Infant's age should fall into age range listed for this class at the time of attendance. Registrations received after 10/16/26 may be held until the first class of the next month.All B-12 class run Sept-June EXCEPT the WEDNESDAY 1:30 and THURSDAY 5:30 Sections. Birth to 3 YearsInfant (Baby) - ToddlerA class geared to a specific age range (Birth to 3 years), targeting the common concerns and needs of both parent and child. Online enrollments MUST include at least one adult AND one child (look for the "Relationships" button). Child's age should fall into the age range listed for this class on 9/1/2026. Choose your class section based on whether or not you would like to separate from your child for parent education time.Tuesday 5:00-6:30pm is a SEPARATING Class. Birth-KindergartenBirth to Kindergarten (B-K)In Birth to Kindergarten classes, families and their young children come together to explore, play, and learn. Parent educators facilitate conversations on child development and ways to support children's growth and learning while building the parent/child relationship. Early childhood educators create and engage children in developmentally appropriate activities to support the specific needs and growth of all children, from B-K. Online enrollments MUST include at least one adult AND at least one child (look for the "Relationships" button). Classes run September through early June, unless otherwise noted. Registrations received after 10/16/26 will be held for most classes until the first class of the next month. TRANSPORTATION IS VERY LIMITED. If you require transportation, register for the B-K (ALL TRANSPORTATION REQUESTS) and designate any/all class sections you're able to consistently attend. Families will be placed as possible. Family Literacy (B-K)Family LiteracyFamily Literacy allows parents and children to attend school together. Adults work on English Language Learning (ELL), and participate in parent education, while their children experience an early childhood education. Caregivers learning English attend 2 days a week with their children, who have not yet started Kindergarten. Caregivers must be beginner or intermediate levels (A or B) on the Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment System (CASAS). Consistent attendance is required. Families apply in June, and complete CASAS testing in August/September. Accepted families will be placed in a class based on CASAS level, needs, and availability. Limited transportation is available. Openings will be filled throughout the year, as available. ONLINE CLASSESBirth to Kindergarten (B-K)Engaging early childhood stories, songs, and activities with a licensed ECFE Early Childhood Teacher. This is screen time for young children at it's best, bringing ECFE right to your home. This is a child centered class tailored to children 2.5-5 years. Parents/Caregivers are highly encouraged to sit with their children during this class, and to incorporate ECFE concepts in their interactions with their children throughout the week.ECFE 26-27 -
Ones - SeparatingInfant (Baby) - ToddlerA class geared to a specific age range (12-24 months), targeting the common concerns and needs of both parents and child. Online enrollments MUST include at least one adult AND one child (Look for the "Relationships" button). Children's birthdates should be between Sept 2, 2024 and Sept 1, 2025. Registrations received after 10/16/2026 will be held until the first class of the next month. Ones classes will create a separation plan that works for the majority of the group. Practice For PreK PLAYDATE (ADD ON)Ages: 3-5 Year OldsPPK Playdate A dynamic drop-off opportunity for children currently enrolled in our Practice for Pre-K program to further refine their social-emotional and classroom skills. Through a vibrant blend of art exploration, hands-on building, and music, students will engage in active play designed to foster independence and peer cooperation. This session serves as a bridge to school, providing extra time for children to master classroom routines and creative problem-solving in a supportive, high-energy environment. This is a Fee Based ADD ON opportunity for students also enrolled in our Practice for PreK program. Students must be concurrently enrolled in PPK at the SAME SITE to participate. Family Fees are based on family income level. Choose your income level, and then select to pay upfront or in installments.
