AWD26: Gardening and Games
Tonight will be all about tending our growing garden and playing outside. Weeding and watering helps our flowers and veggies grow, and outdoor games help our community grow! Come prepared to get a little dirty! We'll move inside if the weather is bad. -
AWD26: Bowling
Meet us at Sunray Lanes for an evening of bowling fun! We’re heading to the lanes for a night of bowling and we want YOU there! This is a night for our community to shine—no matter your skill level. Grab your socks and get ready to roll! Courses with the AWD prefix are designed for adults with developmental disabilities. -
AWD26: Saint Paul Saints Game
It’s Game Day! Cheer on the Saint Paul Saints as they take on the Omaha Storm Chasers. Each participant is allowed one accompanying caregiver/friend. Caregivers/friends must register separately. You must be registered to attend. Transportation not provided. Classes with the AwD prefix are designed for adults with developmental disabilities. -
AWD26: The Driveway Tour Outdoor Puppet Show
The Driveway Tour Outdoor Puppet Show is coming to us! Enjoy an evening of theatre right in our backyard, with fun stories, creative puppets, and shared laughs. Spend time with friends and neighbors, then meet the puppeteers after the show for a behind‑the‑scenes Q&A. This all-ages event celebrates creativity, and everyone is welcome! -
AwD26: Wolf Howl Bonfire
The Wildlife Science Center is where we are headed for a 2 1/2-hour tour to see and learn about some of the United States' wild animals. Hear about animal biology and conservation, and see both mammals and raptors including: black bears, wolves, cougars, hawks, owls, foxes and more! We will have a bonfire, roast some marshmallows and howl with the wolves, too! Caregivers must register as well. We'll take a bus from 1780 West 7th Street to the Wildlife Science Center. Bus will leave promptly at 5 pm and return around 9:30 pm. Please note the bus ride will be approximately 50 minutes each way. Classes with the AwD prefix are designed for adults with developmental disabilities. -
AWD26: Monday Madness Sightseeing Cruise
All Aboard! Meet us at the docks on Harriet Island for a fun sightseeing cruise with Padelford Riverboats. Sights along the way include: the St. Paul High Bridge, Pig’s Eye Cave, the Minnesota River mouth, Pike Island, and the timeless splendor of the mighty Mississippi River. A beef hot dog, chips and a soda are included. Caregivers must register for this course to be ensured a ticket. Courses with the AWD prefix are designed for adults with developmental disabilities. -
AWD26: Let's Go Fishing
Fishing with the volunteers from Let's Go Fishing, on Lake Riley, in Eden Prairie. You will need your own transportation. Caregivers must register as well. Information about fishing licenses and the exact meeting location will be shared prior to the event. You must have an email account for us to send you the information and required documentation. Maximum of 9 total for each trip.
