Belwin Conservancy: Nature Journaling-A Practice in Play (Adult + Child)
One adult and one child, ages 5-15. Register under the name of the child attending. Slow down, engage your senses, and explore the natural world with your favorite kiddo. Capture discoveries through words, numbers, and drawings while strengthening your connection with nature and each other. Bring a journal and your preferred writing tools--pens, pencils, and/or paints-- and dress for the outdoors. Tour Activity Rating: 3 Walking, moderate distances with some steps and/or stairs. -

Union Depot was the dream of railroad baron James J. Hill and a major construction project in Saint Paul's history. Hear how railroads literally shaped the city and the fiery past that led to the depot’s creation. Includes visits to some areas not open to the public. This tour will happen rain or shine. Cherokee Park and Path Walking Tour
Discovery the West Side's Cherokee Park as you explore its land and history. Enjoy stunning views of the Mississippi River from several lookout points. Don't forget your binoculars for birdwatching along the way! Tour is approximately 2.8 miles with moderate hiking through woods with few places to sit. Good walking or hiking shoes and a water bottle recommended. Tour will begin at the corner of Chippewa Avenue and Curtice Street. *Tour Activity Rating: 4 (Extensive walking, stairs, standing)
