American Sign Language 1 - Online Course
Explore ASL as a visual language and learn how to sign basic words and phrases. We’ll cover the ASL American Manual Alphabet and numbers, how to make proper signs, along with word order and how to form sentences. Various lessons on ASL grammar and activities will grow your everyday vocabulary. Some level of familiarity with the Manual Alphabet is expected; if you don't know or don't remember it, consider taking the Fingerspelling Workshop the first week for additional help.
