Lisa Davis is the Founder and Trainer of Power Up with Lisa and is dedicated to empowering and encouraging people to live their lives with intention. Lisa's motivation in life is to build up and support others in finding their own inner strength. She shares her wisdom and expertise in a relatable, down-to-earth style. While the topics of safety are serious, Lisa often finds space to add some humor and fun. 

Lisa's career experience includes working as a peace officer, serving her community, and in the Marine Corps, serving her country. Lisa was recognized in 2007 by the International Association of Women Police and awarded Officer of the Year. Lisa takes a whole-body approach to health and safety and is a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach through NASM. Lisa has consistently practiced martial arts for over 40 years and to date has earned her 5th-degree black belt. She enthusiastically teaches self-defense classes to people of all ages and shares her knowledge and expertise online and in-person. 

You can often find Lisa running on the trails near her home with her dog, River.
