JJ Hill Nature PreKNature Discovery Pre-KSaint Paul Public Schools Nature Discovery Pre-Kindergarten is a fee-based program offering both full and 1/2 day Pre-K options, with extended day and after-school childcare options through Discovery Club (DC). Nature Discovery Pre-K class is open to children that turn 3 years old by September 1 and are not Kindergarten eligible. Nature PreK provides licensed teachers and curriculum that focuses on learning in a nature-based setting as well as bringing nature into the classroom. This program will run on the Saint Paul Public Schools calendar. 2026-27 Nature PreK Registration is Open!! 2026-27 SCHOOL YEAR INFORMATION 2026-27 CLASSES & FEES: Afterschool childcare is available at both sites for Pre-K students 4 years old by September 1. Please see spps.org/discoveryclub for more information. 2026-27 REGISTRATION GUIDELINES Enrollment is not guaranteed and is based on space availability. Once you complete the online registration, you will be put on a “pending approval status” in the order the registration is received. Your credit card will not be charged for the registration fee until your child is confirmed in the program. Once you are approved, you will receive an email confirmation and your credit card will be charged the registration fee. Annual preschool registration requires a non-refundable fee of $79. After registrations meet the maximum number, additional registrations go onto the waitlist and if space becomes available, you will be notified. Monthly tuition is processed on the first Friday of each month. CANCELLATION POLICY: When you register for preschool you are registering for the entire school year: Sept.-May. Cancellation midyear requires a 1-week written notice and a $50 cancellation fee. If you cancel between June 30-August 1 you will be charged a $75 cancellation fee. If you cancel on or after August 1, 2026, you will be responsible for the first month FULL tuition. AFTER SCHOOL CARE Discovery Club is available to students aged 4 and older (by September 1). JJ Hill Location: After school Discovery Club child care is available to students who are 4 years old by September 1, 2025 and attending Nature Discovery PreK at J.J. Hill. Discovery Club is available from 3-6pm Monday-Friday at the J.J. Hill location. Families may elect to sign up for Discovery Club for a minimum of 3 and up to 5 days per week.
